Best Dressed at the Oscars 2017

White was the dress color of the night at the 2017 Oscars.  With the sun shining and the dresses light and sparkling, we could almost feel the beauty of Spring approaching.

Chrissy Teigen’s white gown was absolutely flawless.  From the train and low scoop back to the elegant beading and sexy thigh high slit, this gown had “feminine chic” written all over it!  A+ Chrissy Teigen!

Jessica Biel struck gold with this sparkly long sleeve gold gown.  Many young women were wearing long sleeves at this year’s Oscar’s, proving that the Oscar’s are not just about dressing sexy, but also about looking classy and elegant.

However, some chose to turn up the heat with thigh high slits and cleavage-bearing V-necks.

Emma Stone looked absolutely stunning in her very 1920’s flapper inspired gown.  Not only did she look gorgeous from the outside, her very gracious speech while accepting her Oscar proves that she’s lovely on the inside!

Janelle Monae’s dress became more and more stunning as the night progressed.  It was definitely the most detailed dress of the evening, and she pulled it off beautifully.

Naomie Harris wore a simple frock with the most elegant train.  It goes to show that not every gown needs to be detailed to be gorgeous.

So what was missing? There wasn’t a ton of real bold colors on the red carpet this year.  We saw white, gold, nude, and black, but not a ton of bright colors.

All in all, the fashion at the 2017 Oscars gave us a lot to think about and a lot to love!
