With Coachella happening this past weekend, some of the hottest celebrities were wearing their best indie boho Spring styles.  Paris and Nicky Hilton looked angel-like in an all-white ensemble at the festival.  From white dresses to white skirts and white tops, white clothing is taking over the clothing racks this season.  Paris Hilton looks stylish and a tad quirky in a long high-waist white skirt.  She shows off some skin with a white mesh bra top.  Paris adds some fun white accessories with her cat-eye sunglasses and her large quilted bag.

Nicky Hilton looks casual and cute in a white crocheted lacy dress and a large white satchel.  Her funky reflective sunglasses add a cool vibe to her look.  Both ladies finish off their outfits with simple yet feminine nude-colored flats.  Check out the image below to see how you can get a similar look minus Paris’ bunny ears!

Fun Ways to Refresh your Look in the New Year

Hello 2015! How great would it be if the New Year brought you a new wardrobe? Unfortunately, when you’re on a budget, replacing your old clothes with new ones isn’t always an option.  However, you’re in luck because you don’t need new clothes in your closet to update your look.  In an article for whowhatwear.com, Nayiri Mampourian shares some tips on how to create a fun new look for yourself in the New Year by making the most of the items that are already in your closet.

Firstly, try mixing and matching your favorite pieces.  It’s so easy to fall into the rut of wearing your most comfortable pieces all the time. Try coming up with new combinations that allow you to wear your favorites and achieve new looks.

Secondly, don’t forget about your accessories.  An outfit can look new and exciting if you vary the accessories that you wear with it.

Sometimes a fashion rut can occur if you have no inspiration for a new look.  In order to refresh your sense of style, try looking to your favorite style icon for some inspiration.  Like Mampourian mentions, there’s no need to copy a style exactly, but sometimes looking at others can give you ideas for creating your own unique look.

Altering your clothing slightly can create a whole new look. Try cuffing your jeans at the bottom or distressing them at the knees. The WhoWhatWear article also suggests embracing your basics in new ways by pairing fancy pieces with casual pieces so that they are more versatile.

Last but not least, Mampourian suggests tucking in your shirt.  If you usually let it hang, tucking it in will give you a whole new professional and sophisticated look.  If you usually tuck it in, try not tucking it for a more relaxed look.
