Create Stylish Spring Looks with Maxi Skirts

Now that it’s March, it’s time to start planning out your spring wardrobe.  Luckily, there are lots of winter items that you can carry into the spring.

In an article featured on WhoWhatWear, Meghan Blalock shows us how maxi skirts can be a very versatile piece in your wardrobe.  You can pair them with warm sweaters in the winter and crop-tops in the spring.

Blalock shows examples of how a maxi skirt can look chic and playful.  The maxi skirt featured below shows off your legs underneath sexy sheer material with a floral design.

If you’re looking to make your look even sexier, try a maxi skirt with a thigh high split like the one pictured below.  The deep purple color could work during the winter or spring!  Adding a pair of strappy sandals to the look could turn this daytime skirt into evening wear.

Last but not least, try wearing a textured black flare maxi skirt with a flirty floral crop top.  If you want to show less skin, choose a high-waisted maxi skirt.  Make your maxi skirt work double time by keeping it simple during the day, and adding jewelry, heels, and a clutch at night.
