Style and Fashion: The Cost of Clothing

How much do you spend on clothes, shoes, and accessories? Do you go for designer goods no matter how high the cost? Do you bargain hunt for the best deal possible? Or, are you somewhere in the middle?

Robert Anthony’s Elite Daily article, “20 Stylish People Reveal Just How Much Their Outfits Cost,” highlights a series of photos documenting the price each person paid for the outfit they were wearing the day they were photographed. The photographer captured snapshots of pedestrians by the Lincoln Center in New York City during Fashion Week.

Each person held up a sign with the price of their outfit and flashed it to the photographer, who took a photo of them. It’s amazing to see the vast differences in price. The variety of outfits included ones that were borrowed, DIY, less than a hundred dollars, or as high as thousands of dollars.

No matter how much you spend on fashion, your style is what truly matters. Be confident in the clothes you wear because confidence is key, not the price of a garment.
